The loops do not run themselves; they need people who understand both worlds. The literature keeps rediscovering that gaps close through people and organisations holding dual citizenship: working in the middle, scholar-practitioners as translators, boundary organisations with standing. The bridge is bidirectional by definition: concepts flow into production, and evidence flows back into research, which is the part the theory side cannot do for itself.
